Eaton Employees Provide Manpower at Hospice House

4/6/2012

Eaton Corporation employees will roll up their sleeves on Saturday, April 14, 2012, for a day of volunteer work benefitting Hospice House of Reno County.

Saturday’s workday is part of a yearlong commitment the Eaton Corporation Community Action Committee has made to Hospice and HomeCare of Reno County, a non-profit organization. Throughout the course of the year, employees will provide monetary support and manpower.

On April 14, Eaton staff will paint the gazebo and manicure the Hospice House gardens in preparation for spring planting by volunteers and master gardeners James and Betty Taylor.

Monthly contributions from the company have thus far enabled the purchase of a new entertainment center at Hospice House and future support will benefit Kids Kamp and the Festival of Remembrance program.

“Hospice and HomeCare of Reno County is very grateful for the ongoing commitment Eaton has made to our organization and the community,” said Diane Caffrey, marketing director.
